"This is by far the best Harmonium album and the best Quebecois album in history. I'm clueless as why this is so underrated but l'heptade is a true masterpiece of the prog rock genre that can't be fairly appreciated after only one listen."  Reply

"One of The greatest jazz albums. An absolute masterpiece. It's right there with Moncur's Evolution, Mclean's Destination Out, Miles Smiles, Kind of Blue. If you are dabbling in postbop, and are looking to strike it rich on album satisfaction, you won't be disappointed."  Reply

"Amazing album! First 3 tracks were fantastic and definitely the strongest part of the album! The Islander was a nice addition to the album too and was one I really enjoyed!"  Reply

Birth Of The Cool
Compilation
"Miles changed the face of music many times, the first of which was Birth of the Cool. This album is cool as can be, featuring unusual arrangements for jazz music at the time. The album didn't come out for many years after it was recorded, but the music from these recordings had already spread thr..."  [+]  Reply

"Real Estate are the quintessential heartland rock band for the twentieth century, and I mean that mostly as praise. They play meticulously crafted, reverb-heavy jangle pop that makes for an ideal backdrop to a long drive across the plains, or a lazy Sunday lawnchair afternoon before a football ga..."  [+]  Reply

"Sitting on the Dock of the Bay has to be one of the all-time great tracks for empathy. You can really imagine the lack of direction, sense of loss, and searching for hope. You can see yourself sitting there with him watching time roll away. What a craftsman with his voice."  Reply

"By any means, no other ensembles in the history of recorded music have individually or collectively had a larger imprint on pop culture than the members of Toto. As individuals, the band members can be heard on an astonishing 5000 albums, which has had a huge impact of the sound of pop and rock m..."  [+]  Reply

"Starts off very strong but is far too experimental for it's own good. The good is absolutely brilliant and as haunting as an abandoned mansion, but there's too many loose and unnecessary arrangements that stops this album from reaching it's full potential. " A flat out masterpiece"."  Reply
