"This is more than a gorgeous collection of wonderful choruses, this is vaudeville in the post-punk era, this is The Residents in the world of alternative pop, cabaret songs for demential grotesque cartoons. These dynamic, crazy, irreverent music pills have nothing to envy to underground rock hero..."  [+]  Reply

"Each song sounds like 2-to-3-or-more choruses are packed in. The title track kicks off proclaiming "The sound of God is the screech of tires, lights and magnets, bolts and wires, strayed from the road" with a chorus that states god is "streaming out of the magnets". Then next song: "So can you te..."  [+]  Reply

"This guy man. Look, I'm not arsed about your chin stroking jazz man who can tell me a load of reasons why this ain't the real deal. I only know that he brings the feelings every time and when I saw him live he knocked my sober socks off. At the end of the day, what the fuck more d'yer want?"  Reply

"A very chill jazz rap album. I'd never listened to R.A.P. Ferreira (previous went by Milo) before now but this project left me very impressed. If you're looking for energetic bangers, this might not be for you. However, the smooth instrumentation, thought provoking lyrics make this an album worth..."  [+]  Reply

"One of my favourite singles bands, it's only relatively recently that I've really started listening to their albums. This is their punk-pop beginnings and its a superb start, although probably not one for the listener who likes their more melodic later offerings."  Reply

"I only recently rediscovered this and realized that this was likely the first album that I fell in love with as a full product. Gaga's truly had it together since day one. Even on top of the nostalgia value, all the songs still hold up."  Reply

"This is an overlooked masterpiece. It's an awesome rock and roll record. It includes perhaps one of the most heartbreakingly honest songs ever written in "You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory". Really, I don't know what exactly it is about this record that makes me feel so close to it and atta..."  [+]  Reply
