"Sam Cooke was the first black R&B artist to have creative control over his career. (Curtis Mayfield also did because he was a producer at the black owned Okeh record label) This was in the early Sixties long before Marvin Gaye's legendary battle with Barry Gordy to get "What's Going On?" released..."  [+]  Reply

"Best Whitney album, didn't realise how many favourites I had on here although alot of hits were released, 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' clearly the best track, 'Just the Lonely talking' a personal favourite of mine."  Reply

"I don't find it disappointing at all. Nice harmonies, great guitars (shows David Lindley's debut on Pedal Steel) and good vocals by Browne. "These Days", "Our lady of the well" and the title track are brilliant tunes."  Reply

"Amazing album. Travis does not continue with his "Astroworld" Sound, and instead pursues a darker and more experimental sound for his 4th Studio Album. Songs like CIRCUS MAXIMUS and F!EN are very trap, and also masterpieces in their own right. LOST FOREVER with Westside Gunn has an awsome beat, a..."  [+]  Reply

"Great early eighties album by the Moody Blues where they are kind of, just hanging on to prog but also embracing the more 'radio friendly' soft rock approach. Despite the loss of Mike Pinder, oh master of the Mellotron, the keyboard corner still brings forth many layers of sound that blend seamle..."  [+]  Reply

"One of the strangest records I've heard in my lifetime. The Residents' second album acts as a collage of popular songs from the 60s, noise, commercials, and god knows what else in the form of one strange avant-garde piece of satire. This is not easy listening."  Reply
