"i prefer their upbeat stuff, so this was a slight disappointment. Now, the slower-tempo'd songs are still catchy with multiple choruses, but they're just not the toe tappers like from the previous 3 albums. But you wouldn't know it from opener "my rights versus yours" which has a slow build, but ..."  [+]  Reply

"The best heavy metal album ever bar none. I don't care if large swathes were overlaid post gig. Exciter is an unstoppable opener and it just keeps going for the next 45 mins (or more if you have the extra tracks version). Top stuff."  Reply

"Are you thinking of escaping the invasion of the Japanese music scene ? You're wrong ... After Ajate, Videotapemusic, CHAI and Minyo Crusaders, here's another amazing discovery coming from the land of the Rising Sun and that will kick you in the ass. She are called おとぼけビ~バ~ (Otoboke Beaver) and o..."  [+]  Reply

"Very good indie rock album. Best 5 songs average is 89/100 and so the album gets 90/100. I like this sound. Best songs are "Cash machine", "Tied up too tight", "Move on now" and "Better do better" all 90/100, followed by "Middle eastern holiday" and "Hard to beat" both 85/100."  Reply

"A really interesting, dark slow-core album by the singer of Slint. Just be aware, it stays slow and mellow the whole time, so don't be expecting Spiderland 2. It is still very good, but in a different way. 80/100 (Good)"  Reply
