"The 1st Mansun album I ever bought, was disappointed with both the prequal and the sequal, but this is stunning and Tom Bakers voice on "Witness to A Murder", amazing track, great album, often overlooked, dismissed even at the time, a bit of a concept album and brilliant start to finish."  Reply

"I go through stages of being absolutely obsessed with this album. Currently in the middle of one of those stages. Marcus Miller's bass playing here is absolutely heavenly. The string and keyboard arrangements are so tight, acting as the perfect counterpoint to that slippery bass, whilst Vandross'..."  [+]  Reply

"S-K's amazing and best punk album. The riffs here are uniquely brilliant with Tucker and Brownstein inventing their unique way of interlocking vocals and guitar lines "Call the Doctor", "Hubcap" "Taste Test". Aggressive feminism tracks "I'm not Waiting" and 'Taking Me Home" really hot home. Macfa..."  [+]  Reply

"Live Killers was the first live album by Queen. Released after the Jazz album, it's a time for the band when they were about to go through a serious change...from the adventurous and risk taking music they had made throughout the 70's to a more conventional sound and the use of synthesizers. This..."  [+]  Reply

"My latest discovery, found thanks to BEA. The most amazing blend of styles I ever heard. Heavy metal drumming, guitar work sometimes reminding of Muse or Tool or something else totally. Horns that are perfect in the swing big band mode. And the singing is the most unique element of this band ... ..."  [+]  Reply

"I can't believe the low rating and ranking of this album... I prefer this to their 80s/90s albums. Not a bad song on it (despite a slight drop-off in the last 3 songs), all great rock songs with awesome guitar riffs. My favourites are Just Because, Superhero, The Riches and True Nature. If you're..."  [+]  Reply
