"Other Lives started as an instrumental group, making what I might call progressive classical music. Once they added vocals, it morphed into something else. Classical folk maybe? All I know is they have a bassoon on this album and that is 100% awesome." Reply

"The Messenger takes the jangly guitar that is Marr's signature and incorporates it with a slightly heavier sound. Or maybe it's just the modern production I am hearing.
