"Sometimes the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and that's the case with The Highwomen. This supergroup consists of Amanda Shires (whom I like very much), Brandi Carlile (who I like a little bit), Maren Morris (whom I knew only through social media), and Natalie Hemby (whom I'd never he..."  [+]  Reply

"Some say this is the best album Springsteen never made. It's interesting it is full of his influence. This might have been the direction Bruce went if he wasn't bitter over all the legal troubles. That said, this is still a really good album on it's own merits."  Reply

"I agree that this is hard to sit through the first time around. However, once you give it a few more listens you start to realize just how amazing this album is. Starting off with great songs like Dr. Rock, Sorry Charlie, Pollo Asada, Right to the ways and the rules of the world, this album hits ..."  [+]  Reply

"Really bad. Dull, no good songs and Natalie's vocals are low in the mix, Rob's guitar gets all the prominence, it's no wonder she left. On the two previous albums each song is a story but here you can't even make out what the vocals are saying, let alone be drawn in to them."  Reply

"I know this album where Deep Purple goes symphonic is seen as one of the worst attempts of a rock band playing classical music. Well: I don't agree: the interplay with the London Symphonic orchestra is outstanding and the guitar solos really rock: so don't listen to the critics and listen for you..."  [+]  Reply
