"First half of this has quite a darker tone & heavier feel than his other outings. Not saying that's bad, in fact it's bloody great. Back half is a bit sunnier. Enjoyable right through. This is my personal favorite from Ben." Reply
"Classic Jim Steinman (the guy who wrote the songs for Meatloaf, Bonnie Tyler, etc) here. This whole album is full of that glorious, over-the-top bombast that is Steinman. "This is their best since their debut. It's nothing overly new from them, or great either. However, it took me by surprise. Here my outlook was almost completely sour toward everything that came after that first album. I'm very glad that they managed to create something good again, it gives me hope." Reply
