This was a slow burner for me as not what I expected. A different rendition from earlier albums with this being mellower, even folkier on a few tracks. This is due to the total absence of any guttural vocals but they still maintain their skilled music complexity. Decent; just took me a while to warm to it.

The most progressive Opeth album IMO
Possibly the weakest of the three prog metal albums by Opeth, IMO.
