Melody Pool should be huge and this album is why. Documenting her struggles with depression and heartbreaking separation every track drips with sadness , beauty and venom in equal measure to form a simply compelling experience
Clear highlight is the powerful “Mariachi Wind” which not only is the best song to come out in 2016 but is one the best songs of the past few years
It’s now been 4 years since this album was released with Melody in a self imposed exile for the same period of time. Let’s hope she is doing well and the music loving public aren’t deprived of her exceptional talents for too much longer
