Substantially better than her first two records, this one is surprisingly cohesive and simply has better songs overall. "Better The Devil You Know" & "Shocked" stand out in my mind, very danceable.
Kylie's third album "Rhythm of Love" may stem from the same SAW roots as her first two albums, but the tracks on this one feel bigger and more expressive, whilst still retaining their catchiness. If it is true that Kylie gained a bit more artistic freedom and decided to dabble in different genres like funk/swing, then good for her. The opening track and "Shocked" are actually pretty great and this album is definitely her best before she ventured into the indie world in '94.
