You can really hear Dylan's influence on this album. The glam hasn't really come in yet, but the piano work is amazing as always with Mott, and that Highway 61 organ sound really sounds good.
Sounds like Dylan singing The Kinks, an unformed sound at this point - Mad Shadows is a huge leap forward from these unsteady first steps.
