Perfectly good country album. I think these days we're just content with a decent one... not sure this genre will ever recover.
Jason makes good music but Amanda gets me in the divorce.

The music is generally enjoyable, with the track "Death Wish" being a standout. However, the album's second half tends to lose momentum, giving the impression that the band struggled to maintain their initial creativity and uniqueness in melodies. Additionally, their sound occasionally comes across as somewhat generic.
Classy country while still retaining a somewhat rugged sound and aesthetic - very nice !
Really good album. I never fell in love with Reunions (the last one). I have a feeling Weathervanes will be on repeat for me. After one listen I feel like I like it as least as much as Nashville Sound. Great songwriting. "From the gut" lyrics. Music is Isebellian - nothing that radically new sounding, but there are a few surprises.
