It's a worthy follow-up to her best-ever album "Cut You" (1996), and features a stellar cast of backing musicians, but for some reason it didn't do so well commercially — perhaps because the title track, which was also the obvious single, was too racy and suggestive for American radio despite the actual single being a special "radio edit" with most of the "good stuff" cut out. Another highlight, also rather suggestive, is "The Ballad of Happy Friday and Tiger Woods," which could easily have made Houston the target of a lawsuit by Tiger Woods if the song lyrics hadn't consistently repeated the phrase "his body was perfect" throughout. (Tiger knows how to take a compliment.) There's also "Scum," which basically accuses everyone of being scum, so that might have been a problem too, since most people don't like being called that. Who can say? Despite all that, it's a good album that deserves a chance. You can help!
