Hoobastank wrung all the talent they had into The Reason that came before.
There is a big drop off on the follow up here with no clear cut singles but an obvious attempt to find one.
It is overly long and they are out of ideas to sing about.
Some fans try to say this is good because The Reason was. It's clear how bad Every Man For Himself is because nobody showed up for ForNever that followed and that album is better than this.
Stick with The Reason and single Crawling in the Dark from the debut and that is all the Hoobastank you need

Every track is incredibly catchy and addicting to listen to, minus ONLY the first track (why, why mess that up!). Yes, it has made-for-radio harmonies, and it's also definitely affluent white boys. I don't care. Doesn't make it not good music. A beautiful tribute to living life your own way and taking advantage of what you've got.
C'mon guys, don't be so snob, this is catchy and well-done. When I was younger, I fell in love with it, and I still think it's really not bad.
