Probably my favorite Bloc Party album. The first half is decent but the 2nd half (from Signs till the end) is fantastic and has some of my favorite tracks from them.

Silent Alarm was fantastic. A Weekend In The City was an inevitable drop-off but still good. Unfortunately this one continued the downward trend. Just couldn't get in to it. Says a lot that I can't remember any of the songs off the album...
I'm going against the grain here. I really like this album. I prefer it over all there others (maybe not Silent Alarm depending on the mood). Good mix of up tempo beats and melody. I like the whole thing.
Terrible.
By the third album, most bands are either already re-treading familiar turf and slipping into comfortable self-parody or challenging their fanbase and losing half of them in the process. For Bloc Party circa Intimacy, it was very much the latter, but this is actually a thrilling listen in places. The opening two tracks are just mental...brilliantly so, while there are plenty of interesting dance beats and new sounds to give this album a distinctive and new sound. Not Bloc Party's best record, but still well-worth investigating.

Very inconsistent album. Few good tracks but most of them are rather weak.
Something very off with this on first listen. This might be a grower though. It is very energetic.
a severely underrated lp. not sure why the critics panned this one. Key tracks: mercury, signs, better than heaven.
