This was the best accident ever. Found in a clearance bin for next to nothing. I'd only ever heard one song from them on a compilation I have. Thought 'nothing to lose' so bought it. Fucking loved it. Was the best musical discovery I'd found in many many years. All hail the Elbow

This was a very pleasant surprise. Exceeded all expectations. It's a strange one. I feel slightly guilty about having it so highly placed as it's not really musically groundbreaking or different. It's just that it's so bloody good. Top notch right through. Massively under rated

With this album a lot of tracks have a faster tempo and a heavier rock sound than this other albums. Great album. Title track being one of my personal favorites from him. There's a couple of fillers but overall the majority of the album is pretty solid. Surprised it's not ranked higher among his catalog.

This album seems to get panned and labelled as one of their worst. Fuck knows why. I find it one of the better if not best they've done.

An overlooked and underrated Dandy's album. No singles on it but all solid tracks. Good laid back flow right through. Gotta love the trancey rhythms they do so well. Only complaint is the last track could of been cut down to 4 minutes instead of going on for 14 and a half. 03/24

Went in completely blind with this. Knew nothing about them. Good instinct. Very similar style and sound to Arcade Fire. 04/24

One which definitely grows on me with each listen. Good flowing laid back rock without being laid back. If that makes any sense. You can very slightly hear the Josh Homme influence in there but the band has an entity all of it's own.

This has moved up in my ratings. Actually a lot better than I'd ever given it credit. Good variety. Hints of reggae, hints of ska. Bit of electronica/dub. Good up tempo pop. Enjoyable
