Whilst a lot of her work isn't my cup of tea personally, I do think Ariana has a very good voice and have a lot of respect for her because of the way she dealt with the Manchester bombing

Ariana Grande has emerged as one of the talents of her generation. She pushes the boundaries of feminine identity, religion and relationships in almost all of her work, flat out refusing to fall into any of the media pit falls laid out for her. Publicised breakups, a bombing at a concert, criticisms of her image; less than not letting those phase her, they've seemingly given her strength go further and do more.
Her producers have helped hone a fantastic sound for her, whilst her back catalogue is packed with some of the best hits of recent memory. RnB's most prolific and certainly one of its most all-round fantastic artists at the moment. Everything and more that pop music ought to be.

the lack of pop sensibility in this site makes up for the entitlement the majority of the users have.
ariana is more than ok: her singles are perfect, her albums aren't full of fillers and she's a sweetheart. it's just that instead of accepting you don't understand pop you decide it's bad because it's the kind of music that's constantly playing on the radio.
get some taste.

She has a really good voice, but the music she puts out is garbage. She could have the potential to be a critically acclaimed artist if she made better music cause her voice is perfect, but she just makes pop trash, hence the low rating.

The most interesting thing about her is that her name sounds like a font.
Typical pop music, there's not much here to unlock. Her first album is completely unmemorable, however her second album (My Everything), upon a second listen, is actually quite good.
