Top 3 bands of all time for me. Astounding that they could change their sound so drastically over the years and still absolutely kill no matter what mode they're in. I had the rare privilege of seeing them live in 2008 and it remains the greatest live music performance I've ever witnessed, beating out seeing Brian Wilson's SMiLE tour and all 15 times I've seen Acid Mothers Temple. There is absolutely nothing on Earth quite like Boredoms.

I have come to really love the Boredoms and would probably rank them in my top 10 favorite bands. Strangely enough, though, I don't think I really understand their music at all. They've released albums of noise jams, trance jams, punk jams, and probably some other sort of jam. They even released a comedy album of sorts (Pop Tari). Truly one of the all time great bands. Few bands have covered as much ground as consistently great as they have.
