Without ever being as heart- wrenching as Winehouse`s, the music of Helen Folasade Adu is up there with the best London Soul Divas of the 1990s. The singles are outstanding, but the music overall is top quality.

A wonderful voice although her pop/jazz style may not be to everyone's taste. She has released only 6 studio albums between 1984-2010. Very reclusive not much is known about her - half Nigerian she has a daughter and lives in England.
