Love the way he interprets already great songs.
If you want to hear Joe Cocker's talents, your best bet is with *live* compilation albums . I have his Joe Cocker Live as my favourite.
Mad Dogs & Englishmen is not his best album. It's his most famous one but not his best. His first two albums are far superior & his "Live at Woodstock" is a much better example of his talent!
