In the early 80s, Canadian music hit rock bottom. Neil Young, Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen were past history, and the late 80s renessaince was yet to occur. All we had was April Wine, Rush, Loverboy and Bryan Adams. Ugh... Loverboy is the epitome of commercial rock. Catchy but shallow.
