Stadium rock is what immediately comes to mind when I look at this album cover. "Starlight", "Invincible" & "Knights of Cydonia" are all build to massive arenas. Muse were more than ever huge at this point!

Silent shouts through a frosty landscape. The best example along with ABBA of Sweden being capable of making great music. Close your eyes and soothe your ears with this mesmerizing album!

The unpolluted smoke coming out of the chimney illustrates the clinical music of this album.

You know Amy Winehouse is no good and here she is back to black. All the darkness is fortunately smoothed out with delicious 60s soul packaging. Such a shame she had to waste her talent on drugs!

Awesome slightly psychedelic rock that you shouldn't pass over. Comes with a dronish feel and a cool Velvet Underground-esque snarl!

One of the warmer ambient albums out there. Though there's a strong underlying melancholia present, the tracks here will help you forget the less pleasant things you might deal with in life.

Doesn't take long time to analyse that Thom Yorke hasn't erased his interest in electronic music just because he went on his own for one album. This solo effort isn't much different from the Radiohead albums at this time. Subdued, but harrowing!

Killer follow-up to "Hot Fuss", quite conceptual (about the band's hometown apparently) and major hits on it. Not the coolest album on earth, but the great songs here make me forgive the obvious cheesiness on parts of the album. A glossy triumph for the band!
