Behind the screams (which are part of the manic atmosphere), what a kick-ass band! An electrifying, exciting set and document of its time (1964-65) that contributed to keep them relevant during Punk Year Zero (1977).

George Orwell's "Animal farm" inspired Roger Waters to write a whole album about humanity divided in three archetypes: dogs, pigs and sheep. The music is more than good enough to make the misanthropy very easy to accept.

A "new wavy"/ punk aesthetical approach to classic rock musicality, or is it the other way around? Hugely influential anyway.
