I really liked this list. A lot of these album didn't make my top 50, but would have made my top 100. I actually like the inclusion of The Photo Album - Styrofoam Plates is one of my favorite DCFC songs. Finally, kudos on including The Mountain Goats album. It is such a powerfully emotional album that I'm surprised that only you and I have it on our lists. Great work.

Lots of indie stuff I love to listen to here. And the album with my favourite song : "The Killing Moon" :)

a lot of good selections here. Of the one's I'm familiar with, I wouldn't deem some of them "best ever" (Dear Catastrophe Waitress and The Photo Album both come to mind as both those bands have done better albums), but that's ultimately a subjective personal thing. Nice to see The La's (a very good forgotten album), Elvis Costello (my favorite of his), Elliott Smith, Marvin Gaye, others. Interesting choices for the Talking Heads and Tom Waits.
