I've been a Beatles fan since I was 8 and had all their albums since I was 15 - I'm not going to change my mind - they are for me the greatest and 'Abbey Road' is a peak that will endure. The Band goes out with a classic array of well-constructed songs delivered while at the apex of their playing powers.

Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. A suggestion: maybe replace Supremes Greatest Hits with the far superior Anthology. Greatest Hits cuts off in 1966. It misses all their great 67 thru 70 hits. A LOT of them.

Nice to see Young Marble Giants, Talk Talk, and Killing Joke here. Also a lot of picks that I have no clue about. The 10 Beatles is a little off-putting, alas, this is still very personal with a lot of flavour.
