"Good album. Really good songs including, jump into the fire, coconut, and off course the Badfinger cover, without you. This is one of those albums where you don't realise how many songs you know from it until you hear it. Underrated."  Reply

"This is the closest Miles Davis ever got to making a rock'n'roll record. 'Jack Johnson' is the soundtrack for the 1971 documentary of the same name, about the life of Jack Johnson, the first African American world heavyweight boxing champion. His story resonated personally with Miles, who did not..."  [+]  Reply

"An ambitious first album from Peter Gabriel. Incorporating rock, folk, and even barbershop music, it's an eclectic piece of work. Moribund the burgermeister, is a great opening track, and, modern love, is also a strong cut, but best songs are the excellent, Salisbury hill, and closing track, here..."  [+]  Reply

"Packed with fun piano-based tunes with nary a clunker in sight, "one angry dwarf" starts the disc off like a raucous party which "Fair" ("all is fair in love") continues (where Ben concludes "Not only am I right / I'm lonely and I'm right") with a nice bass fadeout, but most people know it as the..."  [+]  Reply

"Pump, is Aerosmith's best album. It's a vibrant, confident, and energetic classic. The whole band is on the top of their game here, especially Steven Tyler who is singing better than ever. From the opening duo of, young lust/F.I.N.E., the album never lets up, it's a one after the other, in your f..."  [+]  Reply

"Album rating - 72, average track rating - 79. Hmm. 7/10 is probably fair though. The people bashing this album hard are enjoying being on the bandwagon of 'watching the strokes' slow and painful death', when if a new band had released this they would probably have reasonably enjoyed it."  Reply
