Hi I know this is late but just found your chart ...yes there is a little to much metal for me but that's where good guitarist are these days. Can i recommend that you give Jimi at Winterland a listen he's on fire with one of the best Red House recorded. I also suggest you give Buddy Guy a listen he's a blues master. Otherwise a very good guitar chart

What DBZ said. This is solid as hell. I am not a huge fan of
MEtal but recognize the huge talent pool that exists for Guitarists in the genre.
I was more looking for what you'd include for jazz and fusion and blues. And their were some great ones.
Id like to know what your thought is on Roy Buchanan (seeing your love for Gilmour's tone and style) and also wanted to see if you've had a chance to hear "Zoot Allures" by Zappa. As that is my fave GUITAR album by him and probably only second to Hot Rats for fave Zappa.
