Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Refreshing seeing a chart like this. Plenty of great albums and even more that are uniquely you. We have no albums in common and only a handful of musicians but a bunch of these albums are definitely on my decades charts.

Props on chart of the day! I usually don't pay too much attention to it but I saw Lazer Guided Melodies a lot lately and have been on a serious Spiritualized binge lately. That one has jumped to my top 5 recently even

Cool chart. I disagree with a number of choices, but that doesn't really matter. Glad to see you picking what you like. Also, I really appreciate only 1 album per artist, but perhaps you could comment which other ones you like.

Interesting chart. There are a lot of albums on it I don’t care for, but overall it looks original and that’s more important.
i would have rated 90, but plus 10 is for Rain Parade.... great chart !!
