This is the greatest album of all time. Indubitably accepted globally as the greatest, Nirvana's Nevermind appeals to all the senses. It makes you smell the burning, sweating teen spirit that first listened to this album. It gives you the sounds of serendipity through great lyrics that don't have to make sense to sound good and rocking guitar chords and powerful playing by all of Nirvana's band members. You can taste Kurt Cobain's feeling or lack there of and it gives you a feeling. There really is no explanation why its the best CD of all time. It just is. [First added to this chart: 01/16/2012]

System Of A Down simply is the greatest music ensemble of all time. They rock. They are creative. They have reason. They have truth. They play instruments. They put forth art. Anything put forth out by System Of A Down is Mezmerizing. It takes you on a trip and it makes you re-analyze life, let alone yours. But before Mezmerize, there was System Of A Down, their debut eponymous album. Art. Awesomeness. Action. A sense of purpose, urgency resides in the sound waves vibrating out of your speakers. And this encapsulates all that is good in the world, a confrontation of the bad, a re-incarnation of Bob Dylan with elephantiasis. [First added to this chart: 02/21/2011]

Ross Robinson is my 2nd favorite producer of all time, behind Rick Rubin. Ross knows how to jam. Andy Wallace's Chaos A.D., amazing, but Roots blew me away more than Chaos A.D.. Its like Sepultura grew as people, not just musically, because its not just talent that is required to produce an album such as this. They grew spiritually and they grew creatively. They grew. And they grew so much they produced my 3rd favorite album of all time. The end is a bit drawn out, but it jams. It ascends music. [First added to this chart: 11/12/2015]

This album is great through-and-through; much greater than The Original Carnival. Serj Tankian (System of a Down) starts off the album with Riot which immediately transcends into Sweetest Girl featuring Lil Wayne and Akon. That song is a classic and monumental in rap as it refers to classic Wu-Tang's immortal, "C.R.E.A.M.". Sweetest Girl takes the past and links it to the present in a song perfectly fitting for its time, when Lil Wayne was rising above as the hardest working mofo in the game. Wyclef knows true talent and utilizes the best for his album. Each track has a different flavor, as if they were immigrants from other places. Even old-school legend Paul Simon contributes. Will-I-Am makes a justified appearance, representing the U.K. on the album. He's high-profile like the album, which is noticably high-profile, featuring exclusively high-profile musicians. You might think that may be messy, but indeed, each track is produced beautifully. They tell a story for Wyclef to strum his guitar to. This album [First added to this chart: 02/21/2011]

Swagger by Flogging Molly is their first album. And arguably their best. Drunken Lullabies is about as equally as good. Swagger started it all, more punk, more gristle. It includes harder, shorter, faster songs such as the beloved "Devil's Dance Floor", "Salty Dog", "Selfish Man" and the like. They take Irish Folk music and they jig the hell out of it, in heart-felt morose reminiscent of the days of old. This album and Flogging Molly rule punk rock. They are punk rock. Skindred is a wonderful Carribean, nu-metal reggae-influenced band with energy and direction. They put together a wonderful combination of noise called Babylon, their debut album. Back in '05, they were being played lightly on satelite radio until their album came out and weren't heard of for a couple years after that. This album is awesome. For a nu-metaller, its got everything. It's like Sevendust mixed with Bob Marley mixed with the Clash. Its reggae-punk at its best. [First added to this chart: 02/21/2011]

This album kicks ass. Its emo that decided to get out of high school and venture into adult land. Deja Entendu is the greatest thing to happen to emo. It's an already sophisticated band maturing a little more since their pop-punk debut as new-comers. They not only smash out of their punk shells and into the sophisticated alternative indie scene, they redefine that as well, ironically defying their own title of their own album, making music that isn't something anyone's heard, but takes the trends in music and shapes them to their liking. A great, emotional album that is well put-together. Their sound is brand new, but their sophistication isn't. [First added to this chart: 02/21/2011]

You don't need to speak German for this album to be comprehensible. The music speaks for itself. It's beautiful, integrating stringed instruments making the whole album quite epic. [First added to this chart: 12/11/2011]

I can't say I connect with most of this - I'd like to see what else there would be if this was expanded.
