Gimmick...wearing gauze. Pure joy of music? Three chords and the most obnoxious sounding album since The Ramones. Probably cheaper to record than that masterpiece. Surf and three chord rock. The is probably as pure a document as you can get. I want to rate this #1 for the decade. I'm getting there. The Mummies!!!

So much fantastic stuff here! OK Computer and The La's take their rightful places in the top 10, but there's lots of other, less obvious material here, as well. Excellent selections.

Great chart! I'm confused, though. What is Metal Machine Music doing in a '90s chart? How did it get there in the first place? Has Reed's craziness extended to BEA? Oh, and why is it not higher than #95?
