What a great fucking album. It created the quiet-loud dynamic, best seen in Tame, which revolutionized rock and would go on to influence artists like PJ Harvey and Nirvana.

Best Song: 1970

Though the influence of their self titled album and Raw Power can't be understated, this is their best album. On this album, The Stooges furthered the punk rock style they had with their first album, adding more distortion and creating a live atmosphere, and also adding a snarling saxophone.

This is an amazing punk record. It gets a lot more done in it's 20 minute run time than most bands do in an hour.

On this album, The Clash somewhat changes up their style by experimenting with other genres like reggae, but still has the critical views of government and the fuck you society lyrics of their debut.
