Top 10 Greatest Music Albums
by StrangeRodent Unknown

My current favourite albums. I can't say of all time, because doubtless it'll change. Either way, I'd recommend any album here to most people. There's something here for everyone. Kinda.

First album owned on vinyl. The lyrical prowess displayed is truly astounding, which comes as no surprise, really. The musical arrangement is good, but the lyrics are potentially some of the best of this generation.

You can hear the desolation in this album so clearly. Even through the onslaught of noise, it just feels so desperate. Gaz' voice suits The Drones' sound perfectly, but this album is, I feel, the most fitting.

The neighbourhood series. Need I say more? Yes. Haiti. Rebellion (Lies). Every song off this album is truly great. It has a very strong sense of its own rhythm, which I love.

I feel like their self titled album was good, but lacked lyricism. Their second was amazing, and this one only really refined that.

Every track off this is excellent, and I always love hearing distorted bass. Alison kills it on the vocals (Pun intended), and Little Jack does great work with his remarkably simple basslines.

Overall, this album takes a very criminal theme. It's from my childhood, and the sound of it is just kinda etched in me.

The second most underrated album on this list, after Strange Bird. Over 20 tracks, most of which could be singles. The changing vocalists and double bass really set these guys apart from most other rock bands. If you listen to one album off this list, it should be this one.

Something about this being the first infinite album really pumps me up. The constant chugging of the main riff is woven perfectly into the differing riffs of the separate songs. It sounds natural in a wild way.
