If heaven had a soundtrack(I believe it does!), this would be it. There is not a bad thing in this album, no hatred, no sadness, no anger and no sorrow. This is pure transcendental love. The best feeling I ever had while listening to music. It can't even be described by words. It's definitely the best album ever IMHO. I recommend it to everyone. An album from 2060's which is released in 60's. Best rock album anyone can listen to anytime.
P.S.: I mean go to 2060's and listen to all the rock music that is made through the years. Collect its best parts and make an album from it. That would sound very much like WL/WH.

Listen to Iggy, when he says "I feel alright" in this hellish fun house.
First time I listened to this album I said to myself: "How can I not feel alright when this guy is shouting that he feels alright?"

Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some charts can have several thousand ratings)

This chart is rated in the top 2% of all charts on BestEverAlbums.com. This chart has a Bayesian average rating of 91.0/100, a mean average of 94.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 94.3/100. The standard deviation for this chart is 4.8.

Thanks for the very positive review on my chart, and excuse me to everyone for the circle jerk. But this chart is crazy enough to give a 10/10. It doesn't rub me right at every place, which is just how I like it, and the albums I do know make me eager check the rest out.

Look everyone, this is what a real diverse chart looks like.

Completely forgot about that weird mess that's Amorphous Androgynous too.

I also like how you have relatively many non-anglo-american picks too, something I need to improve on.

Thanks for dropping by! You also have a great chart here. And I do agree with you on your holistic approach to albums. "Just a collection of songs" often equates to a boring album. I'll have to reevaluate, but I'm pretty certain that was a subconscious/less deliberate part of making the chart. I suppose for me if parts of the album are weak, it's hard for me to really like it. It can't have 2-5/10 songs that are fantastic and the rest be lackluster to be a great album either.

Thank you for your comment. You've got a very eclectic chart going here! The addition of classical music in the midst is interesting. I wouldn't be able to do it because my chart would have been all classical music. :) Keep it going to 100.

Hi salahshoori ,
you did a very good chart: congratulations. Thanks for answering: I have to admit I have my preconceptions concerning Iran. I`ve never even come close to your country and know very few about it.... I know you have a very old and impressing culture but since I was born Iran is in the western media more or less connected with war, terrorism and totalitarity.
So thanks for improving my view on Iran.

@sssvnnn:
Thanks for your comment and yes I'm from iran and still live here. I don't believe music accepts any boundaries or so, you can be a western citizen and enjoy works of eastern musicians can't you?
All I do is rate the things I listen to by my standards which is mostly the feeling I have during and after listening to the album. And I don't believe that has anything to do with the region I was born in or live inside.
I understand what I believe you are trying say about the slight difference between eastern and western music though, and very much like to hear your intuition on what an Iranian music listener would like.

@NowhereMan :
I look forward to putting 100 albums in this chart, but I think that would take a lot of time cause I'm pretty picky about the things I tell the world I like. It might be my fault though, I'm a little obsessive about this stuff.

I like your Chart, but I can´t believe that you are really from Iran because your chart looks like western style.
(Maybe you don´t live in the Iran?)
