Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).

I'm appalled that you have Aphex Twin, Neutral Milk, Beatles, Tom Waits and Kraftwerk on the same list as Nickelback lol. Nickelback shouldn't be on any list unless it's this one so at least you've got that right. Oh and We're Only in it For the Money is supposed to be bad haha I'm mean he's making fun of the Beatles. Aeroplane over the Sea is one of the greatest indie rock albums ever.

Most of the stuff on here is really bad or at least mediocre enough that I can see why you hate it, but the edginess of picking Sgt. Pepper's, In The Aeroplane, and Trans-Europe Express is just too much.

Nice chart and a good way to make (BEA) friends to enemies.
Luckily I don`t know most of the Albums.
I understand your retention concerning "St.Peppers" - Maybe I´m born too late for this album, but I cannot hear anything brilliant. "Mule Variations" is one of the weakest Waits albums, but has a lot of good songs anyway.

Some genuine crap on list but The Beatles , Norah Jones & Tom Waits have to ask your reasons
Only lacking in Insane Clown Posse and some boy bands.

There's definitely some total crap here, but also some of my favorites. Mule Variations, In the Aeroplane Over The Sea, Laid, Fishscale, We're Only In It For The Money, Have One On Me.
I'm gonna need some more information on why these are the "Worst Albums Ever"

James Blake and How to dress well in the top ten!?! absolutely ridiculous those albums are incredible, maybe just not your style but there's no doubt they are good (excellent) albums. and joanna newsom seriously? other than those no real issue.
