"Dylan's soundtrack to Sam Peckinpah's, pat Garrett and the Billy the kid, in which Bob also featured in an acting role. The music, half of it is mellow acoustic instrumentals, and the other half, vocal tracks. Of the vocal tracks, the most famous is off course the classic, knockin' on heaven's do..."  [+]  Reply

"I discovered this album while doing research into Dylan covers ~ the way MMEB take Dylan's shortest song (under 1m 30s) and turn it into a 9m 55s classic is a masterpiece. I have added this version of the song onto my 'top 100 Dylan covers' chart."  Reply

"Not as well known as "Acabou Chorare", from the previous year, but it's pretty similar _ so, it's another wonderful record from this hippie commune that mixed samba and hard rock, here still at their peak. Excellent musicianship with a poetic worldview. Very unique."  Reply
