"Another excellent Funkadelic album, one of their most guitar driven. Not quite as good as, Maggot brain, but a fine record by a strangely underrated band." Reply
"I love the fuzztone bass on this album. Most of the songs are essentially old school boogie woogie numbers played 10 times faster and louder than usual." Reply

"I think the last couple of songs could have been better - but overall the first side was very solid the energy was kept up through most of side two. One of her best albums." Reply
"This is a massive work - clocking around 6.5 hours! - by improvisation master Jarrett. It is hard listening to it in one go due to its enormous length but the music in it is all worth it, so go for it. I've been listening to this throughout the week - one or two tracks per day - usually at nightt..." [+] Reply
"This is her best album of the 70's, her albums are full of great cover versions of country/rock songs. She makes each song her own It's So Easy, Blue Bayou, Poor,Poor Pitiful Me and Old Paint are good examples of that. The whole album is great nothing weakens it, her voice seems to be at its peak." "Not bad, not great. Tush is good, Heard it on the X ain't bad, and my favorite, Balinese, is very good. The rest I can take or leave." Reply
"I like this record, it truly is a fusion of rock and jazz. Great guitar work, interesting melodies. Sounds a bit thin, would love to hear a remastered version of this. Some of the harmony can be a bit too root centered at times and there are not enough guitar bends, making the record sound stuck ..." [+] Reply
"Billy Joe Shaver wrote some damn fine songs, and Waylon delivers the goods singing them. Maybe not quite as important an album as people sometimes say it is, and Waylon probably gets too much credit for the outlaw movement in general, but still a great album." Reply

"A smoother and slicker Little Feat record, but that in turn loses the raw edge they had on previous albums. There's a jazz rock feel on same tracks, such as the beautiful, long distance love. Other strong cuts are, down below the borderline, and, somebody's leaving. A good LP, but not in the same..." [+] Reply
"As you would expect of a small youth psychedelic folk collective celebrating Christ, The Trees Community is pretty outside the bounds of traditional Christian hymn and praise music. One of the few albums I would describe as capable of transcendence, The Christ Tree works very well in summoning up..." [+] Reply
