"They do rival CSN, whom I really like as well, for their vocals and harmonies. I enjoyed every song on this album and will listen to them many times to come. A very relaxing album."  Reply

"I'm suprised that I'm the first to rate this, considering the "Eighties/Come As You Are" debacle. In any case, this whole album is the epitome of cool. It's legit. You guys need to go to more goth clubs."  Reply

"This is one of those albums that I listened to once and thought was average and mostly unremarkable. But in the following weeks I found myself returning to it more and more. It's now probably my favorite album of 2018 and one of my favorites of the decade. There are so many unassuming hooks that ..."  [+]  Reply

"Probably the most light hearted album I've ever heard, I bet if The Strokes came out before this people would think of this as a parody album! That said its pretty good. Just straight up rock and roll with no pretense, classic post-punk revival."  Reply

"An explosion of hard-edged guitar funk. A pleasure to listen to "Mama Said" has an exceptional sound. Kravitz's songs are tuneful, unapologetically retro and he wears his influences on his sleeve;John Lennon,Curtis Mayfield,Jimi Hendrix and Sly Stone are blended into a cohesive whole while making..."  [+]  Reply

"Wow....suprised this isn't much higher up the list for 2001. I really like this album, it's a warm fuzzy reflective offering which has one of my favourite Mogwai tracks....'2 Rights Make 1 Wrong'."  Reply

"Good lyrics. Decent melodies, although not very varied. It is very well performed and produced. Not a lot of songs here would be memorable hits, but some songs are still catchy within this post Britpop style. Worth a second listen, IMO. 9/10!"  Reply

"Burial's self-titled album is a very impressive debut; most veteran musicians have never put out work with comparable amounts of quality to this record. With the use of sampled vocals and claustrophobic beats, this record expertly captures and evokes a dark mood, along with an overwhelming sense ..."  [+]  Reply
