"Rather than being one more shot for glory "Interpol" is a more subtle, sombre affair signalling Carlos' exit from the band. By no means easy listening, it is very much their 'difficult' album with the band often sounding like they're playing with one hand behind their back, it is nonetheless a tr..."  [+]  Reply

"It isn't really innovative, but it's consistent, I can't find a bad song here. While it hasn't got the grip of an Arctic Monkeys record, you can definitely hear the ambition and talent of these young lads. The production is spot on, it is full of bangers, and you can hear some Strokes and Oasis i..."  [+]  Reply

"In Dreams is beautifully sung and Roy Orbison's voice is what makes the album stand out as much as it does. His vocal is incredible and he makes it a near impossible task not to sing along with him even if you don't know the lyrics. On the whole it is a pure and innocent record and is very enjoya..."  [+]  Reply

"What’s the best album no one has heard of ? Music snobs have preached the the virtues of this album for decades and with good reason. Coming out in 69 this album was swamped by the land mark releases from The Beatles, Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin and very much suffered as the hippie summer of ..."  [+]  Reply

"Great live tracks of George's stuff especially Here Comes the Sun. Clapton & Ringo are on this as well. But what makes this album great is the Bob Dylan appearance and his tracks on the second half. One of my absolute favorite live albums and highly underrated."  Reply
