"Even better than 'London 0 Hull 4', this has, among many other upbeat pop gems, the best song about public school (it's a tie with 'The Headmaster Ritual' really) cruelty: 'Bow Down'. A must-listen." Reply
"Nothing particularly special here, but if you're looking to groove to some old school soul, this is a go to album. Imo some of the tracks felt a little empty, but overall it was decent. 7/10 Fav Tracks: Brown Skin Girl, Shine, Twistin' & Groovin', River" Reply

"The album that brought Aerosmith back into the big league. Permanent vacation, is a thoroughly enjoyable rock'n'roll record. "If you like the 60s San Francisco sound (Jefferson Airplane) you'll probably like this album. Ethereal folk music, heavy on the violin. Listen to the song White Bird on youtube." Reply

"The concept and aesthetic of this album could of easily collapsed into a self-ingulgent pretension mess, but thankfully this is not the case. A truly terrifying and brutally sincere performance." Reply
"Yet another underrated funk album on this site." Reply
"First half is pretty corny IMO. I get that Joey didn't want his message to get lost in translation but I feel like I'm getting beat over the head. Lyrically the second half is a lot better but the production is lacking compared to the first half. I wish Joey mixed his modern sound with his 90s so..." [+] Reply

"If you're a Ramones fan or a fan of 70's punk this is a no brainer. Great 1977 New Years Eve show at the height of the Ramones power. Original 4 Johnny Joey Tommy and Dee Dee. This is well recorded, sonically great and so so satisfying. One of the greatest live albums EVER and my personal favorit..." [+] Reply
