"The sub-title of this Slash album is "R & FN' R" - which I believe Slash meant to abbreviate "Rock And Formula Roll." The guitarist does accumulate a bunch of top-notch vocalists with whom to collaborate." Reply

"A very good debut album. Some people call it "Britpop," and while it has some elements of that, it really feels more like it's influenced by "The La's." It doesn't quite have the songwriting strength of Barlow, but it is varied and takes risks that "Take that" would never take. 9/10!" Reply

"I bought this on tape (a really state of the art playing medium at the time!) and played it over and over back in the late eighties, great for driving to. Latterly I have got the CD and more recently what I really wanted, the vinyl. This is a blisteringly good album with some fantastic lead guita..." [+] Reply
