"You can't really go softer and gentler than this LP. Superb songs. Electric Guitars is a nostalgic reflexion on the Beatles: "We were songbirds, we were Greek Gods, We were singled out by fate, We were quoted out of context - it was great"."  Reply

"I didn't like that much Leonard Cohen's last album. I still listen to some of the songs but it didn't hit me that much, honestly. However, that was a long long time ago. I decided to listen to this due to curiosity (and because it was finished thanks to the help of very great musicians) and wow! ..."  [+]  Reply

"Very surprised at the low rating for this... I think there's a stigma and snobbery around Craig David that I don't understand. I can't fathom how an album like Stankonia is ranked so far above this. Fill Me In, Rendezvous and 7 Days are exceptional. Some of the songs are a bit samey I'll give you..."  [+]  Reply

"This sounds like classic rock from tom petty & the heartbreakers, a classic rock band uncoincidentally enough. Of course, there is no song comparible to the best in his catalogue, but this is still a solid rockin' effort. What more can you ask of Tom Petty and gang at this point?"  Reply

"It has often been noted that it may be difficult to put genre label on Emmylou Harris' "new" style which was founded with "Wrecking Ball" in 1995. It is obvious that there are strong roots in both country, folk and rock, and I feel that her music can be compared with Richard Thompson's, which of ..."  [+]  Reply

"Really playing into my love of Jason Molina here, this is straight up another Magnolia Electric Co., just a little louder. Also, the production on this is near perfection, the clarity and space around every part is immaculately executed."  Reply
