"Disturbing and beautiful. One of the first Industrial albums in music." Reply
"Experimental and interesting, but has a tendency to be shrill, unnecessarily repetitive and frankly annoying. A difficult album to get through, only redeemed by the clear intellect behind the way it chooses to experiment." Reply
"The songs on i idle by in a more languid mood than many of those already featured in Stephin Merrits oevre, if anything, this adds to rather than detracting from the album, lending it a unique and a much-appreciated appeal. Cool." Reply

"(A bit of an odd album. When I hear it, it's as real and tangible as that pond on the desert's horizon. And when the album ends, its as gone as ... well, that damn pond. Anyway, shitty attempts at poetic metaphor aside, this is a strangely gauzy, smoky, ethereal album that flows effortlessly and ..." [+] Reply
