"Renaissance's debut bears little resemblance to their later work; even the band members are different. This is a prog-rock effort with classical undertones headed by ex-Yardbird lead singer Keith Relf, who was not only a distinctive singer, but a good musician and songwriter. He put out one more ..." "This was the album that really consolidated Los Lobos' name as a modern rock band that was on level with contemporary trends, wrote great songs and who played their instruments sang their songs to pure delight. The album is once again produced by T-Bone Burnett. This time the group decided, with ..." [+] Reply
"It's hard to believe that Nanci Griffith and her amazing talents never made her as big as she should have been. "Some good songs (like America or In the Morning) but not a really good album." Reply

"This is a pretty fun indie pop record with some cool sounding electronic elements. Not as good as their first record however. It starts feeling a bit to repetitive towards the end and a couple of the songs could be trimmed down in length" Reply
"A beautiful fusion of acoustic folk and electronica make this a nineties classic. Trailer park, Beth Orton's lovely debut was perfect for the time and place, and features great tracks in, she cries your name, don't need a reason, and, whenever. Still her best album in my opinion." Reply
