Vastly better than the first album. It's got such a blended feel of 60's & 70's music mixed with the 90's alternative sound. Truly great overlooked record.
Totally agree with people who think this album rocks! Definetly one of the greatest albums of the 90s and frankly in my top 10 greatest albums of all time. If you havent heard this one yet I highly recommend you to do so.
I just love this album and find it criminally underrated. Wonder where they would have gone next had Shannon been around.
Such a blast to listen to. First time making my way through Blind Melon's discography but this one easily surpasses their debut album for me, at least as far as first listens are concerned. It lacks a radio hit single type song like "No Rain", but it's far more consistent, unpredictable, multilayered, jolly and depressing all at the same time. Really bums me out knowing that they had to stop making music prematurely. Had they been able to keep working on their craft there's no doubt in my mind they would have eventually turned a lot more heads.

More consistent than their first album... A pop-rock gem that has been overlooked.
A beautiful album that is sadly overlooked.
Like so many other 90's "one hit wonders", this band had many more good albums outside of their popular one.
I agree, a definite must have of the 90's, near perfect. Hoon was a genius.
