Surprising and fascinating compilation of some 70 tracks that extend over 5 decades. Roughly half the cuts include vocals, some of which are clearly traditional r and b arrangements rather than jazz. Even the odd spoken word effort as well. An entertaining carpet ride through Sun Ra's diverse and colourful recording career, not to mention the history of music itself.
