"Banana Peel On Capitol Hill" feels like a revelation made late at night, emotional and hazy. The album switches back and forth between goofy absurdism and deep feelings on social injustice. "Spider-Mane Was On Crack One Day" and "Genetrified Chickkken Tearing Down Your Neighborhood" are absolutely hilarious with Mononeon's ad-libs breaking through. The more serious aspects of the album hindered by it's sloppiness. The choruses feel out of time and often too wordy. The slightly trippy synths and baselines are so loose that the songs lose momentum. "Banana Peel" is filled with talent and good ideas, but it needs to refined.
