Best Canadian band since Arcade Fire. Would be as comfortable playing the Twin Peaks Roadhouse as they would the Belle and Sebastian's Bowlie Weekender festival. They are the last of the Twee in this not-so-twee world. Molly Rankin's voice is among the most melodic and versatile in the genre. I really hope they have more music left in the coming years.

Already eclipsed her dad. One album. Nothing against the Rankins, but Alvvays is the new generation's improvement.
