thanks Nick. I've been lazy with this one. i have books of album covers from my days of studying graphic design. there's a lot to choose from.

Excellent idea - you should definitely expanded it. You know, there is a story behind each cover - some only the artist knows, others are more public. The ones that I happen to know are about Zappa's "Weasels Ripped My Flesh" and Beck's "Odelay". The first is based on 2 50's themes (a commercial and a story) which are combined on the cover and the 2nd, this is a real dog on the cover. The story goes that he had to come up with a cover and as time was running out his girlfriend did picked up the cover theme for him.
