2013 was probably the height of forum use, listening club and all that bea stuff and internet stuff. as a result this is a year i've heard more of than any other post say 2001 year. still not like a ton. at least after just pruning all the un-remembered fluff albums here i can say i remember not a massive amount of albums. maybe i was drunk more often thatn i thought cuz i was drawing a blank on some of the previously included albums. anyway, here is 2013.

One of the things I enjoy about looking at people's 2013 charts is that there really isn't much of a consensus #1 pick. I do think, though, that Southeastern is as close as we can get. It's such a triumph, both personally and artistically, for Jason Isbell--and I think he's been a really good influence on the Nashville country scene since he started gaining critical recognition for his solo work. So, that's a terrific #1 selection. Looking forward to seeing your selections #89 through #100, if and when you get around to updating your chart.
